The Eiffel tower located in France, Paris’s main tourist site, and there best work of architecture and art. The Eiffel tower was originated by Maurice Koechlin and Émile Nouguier, two senior engineers who worked for Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, and helped build it. The Eiffel tower blue prints were presented in 1885 and was ready for building in 1887. The Eiffel tower took 2 years to build, it was finished in 1889. The Eiffel tower is 324 meters tall, and there is over 300 steps from ground floor to the first floor, and is the same for the walk to the second floor, but due to the height they close the stairs for the third floor. There are other ways to go to the top though, if you’re not much of a walker, they have about 9 elevators/lifts.

The Arc De Triomphe also located in Paris is another tourist site, but it isn’t as famous as the Eiffel tower. The Arc De Triomphe is actually a monument built in 1806. The monument was built to honor those who fought and died for France during the French revolutionary and the Napoleonic war, with the names of all French victories and generals inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. The Arc De Triomphe is 50 meters tall, and has an unknown soldier from World War 1 buried underneath it.

Another tourist site located in Paris, mainly known by its exquisite view of the town, beautiful structure, or the Disney movie The Hunchback and the Notre Dame. The Notre Dame is a historic Catholic Cathedral, and is widely known for most of the stone carving decorating it. Most of the hand carved gargoyles decorated the exterior were made for water run-offs, and were painted but faded away over the years. It was made in 1345, and is 69 meters high, but has a 128 meter length. It was actually meant to be a church, but became quite the tourist site, people who enter though are mainly Christian, because of the inside decorated much like a church.
